A bikini wax uses warm wax to remove hair from the area just outside the lines of standard underwear or swimwear, addressing only what would be visible beyond these garments. It is the least extensive of the intimate waxing treatments, distinguished from the G-string wax and Brazilian wax by the smaller, more conservative area covered. Because hair is removed from the root, results typically last three to four weeks, depending on individual hair growth and waxing history.
If this is your first time, your beauty therapist will explain the process and answer any questions before starting. The first treatment is usually the most uncomfortable, as hair hasn’t previously been removed from the root. With regular waxing, hair becomes finer and treatments become more comfortable over time.
Hair should be approximately half a centimetre to one centimetre long at the time of treatment. Avoid shaving in the weeks before your appointment.
The bikini area is more sensitive than many other parts of the body, and post-wax reactions can be more noticeable. Proper technique and aftercare help manage this.
Maintaining this treatment every three to four weeks helps reduce discomfort and improve results over time, as hair becomes finer and sparser with regular waxing.

The area is cleansed and prepped, then warm wax is applied and removed along the sides of the bikini line. Remaining fine hairs are addressed with tweezing, and a soothing post-wax product is applied.
The treatment typically takes ten to fifteen minutes. Some redness or sensitivity is normal immediately after and usually settles within a few hours.
