Your treatment review is a focused and thorough appointment in which your registered nurse carefully assesses the results of your recent treatment, evaluates how your skin and facial anatomy have responded and discusses your experience and satisfaction with the outcome achieved.
The timing of your treatment review is thoughtfully scheduled to coincide with the point at which your results have had sufficient time to develop and settle — allowing for the most accurate and meaningful assessment of your outcome. Treatment reviews for medical aesthetic treatments are generally scheduled at approximately two weeks following treatment, when results have typically fully developed and any initial settling has resolved. For volumising treatments, your review is scheduled at approximately four weeks — allowing adequate time for any swelling to fully subside and the final result to be properly assessed.
During your review your registered nurse will compare your current results with your pre-treatment clinical photographs, assess the symmetry, balance and overall quality of your outcome, discuss your experience and address any questions or concerns you may have and determine whether any refinement or adjustment would further enhance your result.
Your treatment review will take place in the same private and welcoming environment as your original treatment appointment. You will be greeted warmly and given the time and space to share your feedback, ask any questions and discuss your results openly and honestly with your registered nurse.
Your registered nurse will conduct a thorough visual and clinical assessment of your results — evaluating the outcome in terms of symmetry, balance, naturalness and your individual aesthetic goals. Clinical photographs will be reviewed alongside your current appearance to provide an objective and detailed comparison of your results.
Where your registered nurse identifies that a refinement or adjustment would improve or optimise your result — or where you have a specific concern about your outcome — any necessary adjustments can be discussed and scheduled accordingly. Your registered nurse will also take this opportunity to discuss the recommended timing of your next treatment and any updates to your ongoing treatment plan.
